The 9-day epic Annapurna Circuit trek via Thorong La with MTA Trekking was an unforgettable experience! The landscapes were absolutely breathtaking, and the small villages along the trail were rich with charm, tradition, and vibrant life. The locals were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the traditional food was simply delicious. Our guide Sishir was outstanding. He prepared us thoroughly to handle the high altitude ensuring we had no difficulties as we crossed Thorong La. His guidance allowed us to complete the trek comfortably with plenty of time to rest and learn about the local traditions and the stunning mountain environment. Our porter was equally supportive and kind, making us feel like part of a team. This incredible adventure will always stay with us. Thanks to the beauty of the Annapurna Circuit and the amazing support from the MTA Trekking team. Highly recommended!
We loved the experience, we would highly recommend the activity, the guide, and the company. The views were absolutely breathtaking all over but especially at the top of Poon Hill - worth the early morning start and steep walking. We highly recommend Santos as a guide, he was very helpful and very happy and very knowledgeable about the entire area we were walking in and beyond. The company we booked through, Snow Peak, was also good and kept us updated.
Really nice experience, we happily learned about the local cuisine, how to cook Dal Bhat and how locals live. Everything is well organized, neat timing, transfer, clean kitchen and fresh products.
The kitchen was very clean and well organized. You could buy the recipe book for only 400 baht. Most of the dishes were delicious and you could choose which 3 dishes you wanted to eat.
Fantastic experience & Ram was a brilliant guide! An absolute must fit anyone visiting Pokhara!
