After departure from Dubrovnik, you will take a short break on the Dubrovnik bridge for some scenic photography of the town. Continue along the Adriatic coast while learning about the various sites that you encounter along your route. When the tour reaches the town of Neum you can take a break for shopping and morning coffee. The tour then proceeds through a picturesque delta of the River Neretva to the small town of Pocitelj. In Pocitelj you will have an opportunity for sightseeing and free time. Pocitelj is a beautiful cultural and historical site featuring structures from the 15th century. Continuing to Medjugorje you will have more time for sightseeing and discovery. Medjugorje is a spiritual and religious site and is one of the most famous pilgrim destinations in the Catholic world. Since the apparition of Our Lady of Peace in 1981, this place has been visited by pilgrims and tourists from all over the world. The tour will then proceed to Mostar. Through the centuries Mostar became the meeting point of various cultures and religions. During your sightseeing, you will witness the imprint left by this varied history. Besides the Old Bridge, the symbol of the town, you have the chance to visit the Mosque of Mostar, a Turkish house, and many other monuments in the town. In the afternoon, following sightseeing and free time, you will return to Dubrovnik.

Enjoy a day-trip in Bosnia and Herzegovina from Dubrovnik. Drive across the border, with picturesque views of the Adriatic Sea. Discover the cobbled streets of Počiteli, and the breathtaking Kravica Waterfall. Cross the Old Bridge between the two sides of Mostar. Get picked up from your accommodation in Dubrovnik and enjoy scenic sea views as you drive in style along the Adriatic coast. Cross the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina after 1.5-hours, reaching the city of Počitelj. Explore Počiteli, a beautifully well-preserved city with Mediterranean-inspired architecture and a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Take a stroll along the picturesque cobbled streets and admire the giant stone watchtowers.  Continue on to the river Trebižat, to discover the incredible Kravica Waterfall. Take the chance to capture stunning photos of the falls, before spending an hour driving to the city of Mostar.  Arrive in Mostar, a city connecting Muslims and Christians by the fairytale-like Old Bridge. Listen to your tour guide describe the political and historical events behind the construction of the bridge. Enjoy spending free time in Mostar. Choose to try Turkish style black coffee beside the river Neretva, or indulge in a lunch filled with traditional Bosnian and Herzegovinian specialties, like minced meat in pita bread with cream and onion. Finish your day-trip driving back to Dubrovnik. Take different roads on the way back, experiencing more of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian landscape.

In 1996, Počitelj was added to the list of the world’s 100 most endangered cultural heritage sites, by the World Monuments Watch – so definitely worth a visit. Your tour includes a 45 minute walk of this fortified town which contains a few scattered homes and cafes, a beautiful mosque, a tower and a citadel, surrounded by the remains of a city wall. Then you're off to the Blagaj Tekija which was built around 1520, with elements of Ottoman and Mediterranean style architecture. It is a national monument. Blagaj Tekke is a monastery that was built for the Dervish cults and lets you make it come alive for you - a fascinating stop! Mostar is famous for the impressive Ottoman–style bridge spanning the Neretva river which was destroyed during the war in Bosnia and Hertzegovina but subsequently rebuilt. There are still poignant reminders of the legacy of that war in the street art and damaged buildings to be found around the city, but you will also be impressed by the wonderful spirit of local people and its dramatic beauty. The buzz of the local bazaar offers a great shopping opportunity and you might be lucky enough to witness daredevil diving from the bridge during the season.
