Discover the interconnected lakes and waterfalls of Plitvice National Park. Pre-book your National Park entrance ticket online, then explore 29,685 hectares of lakes and forest with a guide. Encounter a variety of native species that pre-date the arrival of humans. Start your tour at the north entrance of the park. Your sightseeing route is circular, and is designed to show you areas from all parts of the park with a combination of walks and electric-boat rides. Enjoy a relaxing return to the starting point, made mostly by panoramic train, while you admire myriad waterfalls of different sizes. The Plitvice Lakes National Park belongs to Dinaric karst area and due to its specific geology, geomorphology, and hydrology, it truly is one of the most unique karst landscapes in the world.

Our guide Leopold led us on a lovely journey through the lakes and waterfalls and gave us clear narratives on Plitvice Lakes. Our friends in their 70s didn't feel pressured to go at a faster pace. We had lots of memorable photos taken. Croatia and its people are so lucky to have such a special national park
