Meet up in the small village of Primišlje on the Mrežnica River and get ready for your kayaking adventure as you listen to all the necessary safety instructions. Venture into the wilderness of the upper canyon between Primišlje and Tržič, considered the most beautiful part of the Mrežnica River and ideal for a thrilling kayaking adventure. Paddle your way through a deep and narrow gorge where the sun only enters for a few hours each day and marvel at the spectacular natural light show. Pass cliffs of white rocks and lush vegetation, discover cascading waterfalls, strong freshwater springs and pools of water that are great for swimming in the summer. Get some time to swim and jump at an 8-meter high waterfall before kayaking back to the meeting point in the early afternoon.

In the Plitvice National Park, nature has created 16 lakes and connected them with amazing travertine waterfalls. These beautiful waters are surrounded by natural green forests and amazing landscapes that will take your breath away. The park is also home to different animal and plant species which makes it even more precious. Along the way, you will stumble upon places with absolutely phenomenal panoramic views so it's not a bad idea to bring a camera with you to capture the surroundings and the wildlife of Plitvice Lakes. Use your free time inside the park for a pleasant recreational walk. Explore the park on foot, discovering the secrets of the park and making your way from the lower lakes to the upper lakes. Relax and rest your legs in the comfortable bus that will take you to Croatia's capital. 

October 13th - 25th - 2023 Experience the best of Europe in 12 days with unique destinations, and historic sites! Join our small group (some of which adult rec Men and Women hockey players) in a balanced itinerary of sightseeing and taking in the breath-taking sites as listed! We do plan things as outlined. However, we also allow guests to roam on their own as wanted or needed. Some folks like to go-go, and some might want to relax, that is up to you. We always provide a detailed itinerary prior to the trip with everything planned. We also adjust as needed to accommodate flexibility each day as needed. We will have a group of 14 Adult Rec hockey players along. Do let this deter you! We always have a group of non-players along as well each year. The hockey events are low key but also a great way to meet locals and enjoy their hospitality, culture, and food!
