What people are saying about Plettenberg Bay

Such a great experience and a super guide. Take your time and slow. This is South Africa. That's how our tour started. Without stress and completely relaxed. Sunscreen and a shower for afterwards were also provided for us. It was explained to us before we went to the open sea what we have to consider. And that's where it started. The guide told us a lot. Unfortunately we didn't see any dolphins. That was a bit of a shame, but you have no control over that. The tour was planned for 2 hours, but only lasted about 1 hour 15 minutes. The sea got rougher and so we had to turn back. For the remaining 45 minutes we would have been happy about an alternative or the tours have to start earlier. Otherwise it was a great experience. Gladly again :)

Our guide was Robert. He was very informative. We were fortunate to see most of the animals. We did not see the elephant though which was the only thumbs down for us. Apparently they go away in the morning. So if you want to see them take an afternoon ride.

The weather was perfect and the guides were friendly.

It was amazing, you don't have to know how to swim.

Lots of seals, you get close! Fun to get pictures.
