Also look for the activity where you can swim with the seals. If your fit enough to climb in and out of an inflatable, this option would be better. We are both in our 60's and loved this trip. The launch and docking are exceptionally good fun - I'll say no more apart you need to experience it! The time looking at the seals passed very quickly - there's so much to see, and watching the seals play was delightful. Great fun!

The tour was a beautiful experience, you could see the seals up close. The guide was very nice and likeable. The crew on the boat too 😉 The highlight is driving onto the beach at the end with what felt like 120kmh, we laughed a lot!

Full description

Head out to Robberg Marine Protected Area to view a colony of 6,000 Cape fur seals. Meet at the office on Hopwood street to fill out the necessary paperwork before making your way to the boat. Board the Robberg Express at Central Beach and head out through the surf to the seal colony. On the way, take in beautiful views of the coast’s sandy beaches and rocky platforms.   Experienced guides on board will be able to answer all your questions and take great pictures of your experience. Observe these wild animals lazing in the sun, swimming, and playing with each other — they may even come up to the boat to say hello.

It was really great, but the guide should relax a bit, they cant keep everyone on top of each other, and bumping into each other. We know to keep close and not go far, just give a bit lee-way. Videos could be much better too, get the sense not much effort goes into it. Make a bit longer. But the experience itself was phenominal.
