I highly recommend the trip. Ávila and Segovia are beautiful, definitely worth a visit. Very nice atmosphere, comfortable coach, meeting in the very center of Madrid. We got a great guide, she spoke English well and recommended very good restaurants in both cities. At the end she told us a few more tips for tourists, which helped us a lot during our later stay in Madrid. It is worth choosing the option with a tour of the Alcazar castle - both the castle and the views from it are impressive. You can enter on your own in your free time after paying directly in the castle, but a guided tour is much more interesting. Note - tours from several companies start in the same place at the same time, it is worth paying attention to approach your guide. We made a mistake, but everyone was very helpful :)

Sara our guide was excellent! Very friendly with a good knowledge of the subject and great English. The coach was very comfortable and we had a pleasant journey to Avila & Segovia - all very well organised. The tours of Avila & Segovia were both informative and interesting and the included light lunch was a nice bonus. The whole trip was good value for money; even Segovia alone would be worth the cost - the Roman aquaduct is mind-blowing! A highly recommended tour.
