Playa Grande, Taganga

We will pick you up at your hotel at about 9 a.m. and go to the registration and embarkation point, to set sail at about 9:30 a.m. We will make a sea and panoramic crossing of approximately 40 minutes, passing through the bays of Santa Marta, Taganga, Playa Grande, Granate, Concha Bay, Neguanje and arrive at Playa Cristal, considered one of the most crystalline and quiet beaches that Tayrona Park has, with a huge coral area, home to multiple marine species to appreciate snorkeling; this is a tour of total relaxation to fully enjoy the beauty that nature gives us. At lunch time, we will offer a delicious typical beach lunch with options of Fish, Chicken or Pork, with its accompaniment and fish soup, to continue enjoying this beautiful beach. At about 3:30 p.m. we will return to the embarkation point and from there to your hotel. Bring comfortable clothes and shoes, bathing suit or shorts, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen if you prefer, camera and the best attitude to enjoy some of the most beautiful landscapes and beaches of the Colombian Caribbean.

Embark on a unique adventure in Santa Marta with our Remanso, Taganga and Playa Grande tour. We begin by picking participants up at their hotel and head to the Taganga lookout point to capture breathtaking photographs of the landscape. Next, we explore the picturesque fishing village of Taganga before boarding a boat to Remanso, a nature reserve where you will enjoy 35 minutes of snorkeling, observing colorful fish, corals and more. Afterwards, we head to Playa Grande, famous for its emerald green sea, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious lunch with choices of grilled breast, grilled beef or fried fish. The day culminates with free time on the beach before returning to the hotel at 4:00 p.m. A perfect day for nature and adventure lovers!

Immerse yourself in the magic of a coastal town that keeps its ancestral traditions. Located on the edge of the Tayrona Park, this picturesque place invites you to discover a world of authentic flavors and dreamlike landscapes. From Santa Marta, we will take you in a comfortable shared transport to the Taganga viewpoint, where you can admire a panoramic view of the coast. Then, we will set sail in a boat that will take you to the paradisiacal Playa Grande. Relax in its crystal clear waters, feel the soft sand between your toes and enjoy a refreshing swim. To complete the experience, you will taste typical dishes of the region, prepared with the freshest ingredients from the sea. In the evening, we will enjoy an unforgettable sunset, where the sky is painted in vibrant colors and the sea becomes a mirror of light. We will return to Santa Marta with indelible memories of this unique adventure.

The tour to Minca starts at 7:00 am with pick up at your hotel or apartment. During the trip, you will receive recommendations and information about the destinations: Minca, Pozo Azul, Taganga and Playa Grande. The first stop will be to enjoy a typical coastal breakfast: a delicious egg arepa with juice. Then, we will head to Minca, the ecological capital of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Upon arrival, we will begin a 25-minute walk to Pozo Azul, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim until 11:00 am. Afterwards, we will return to the van and head to the Taganga viewpoint. Here, you can admire the beautiful fishing village, take pictures and buy local handicrafts. We will have lunch in this picturesque place before taking a boat to Playa Grande, where you will enjoy the sea until 4:00 pm. Finally, we will return to the van for the return trip.

Our activity will start in the morning with the pick up at your accommodation. Below are the details of the itinerary, the hours are estimated and may vary according to daily operation. * 9:00 to 09:30 AM: Departure from the hotel in Santa Marta. * 9:30 AM: Guided and panoramic tour of the most emblematic sites of Santa Marta . We will pass by the Cathedral of Santa Marta, the Parque de los Novios, the Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, the monument to “ Pibe Valderrama”, among other iconic streets of the city. * 11:00 AM: Visit to the Taganga viewpoint. This viewpoint will offer us beautiful panoramic views of Taganga Bay and the surrounding mountains. Located at an approximate height of 100 meters above sea level, the viewpoint is the perfect place to appreciate the immensity of the ocean, take photos and contemplate the landscape. * 11:45 AM: Panoramic tour of Taganga. The guide will give you an introduction to the history , the culture and daily life of Taganga. You will learn about the importance of fishing in the community and the evolution of the town over the years. We will visit the Malecón de Taganga, a picturesque area where you can see the colorful fishing boats and enjoy the maritime atmosphere. Your guide will tell you fascinating stories about the lives of fishermen and their connection to the sea. The tour will take you through the narrow streets of Taganga, where you can admire the typical architecture and colorful houses. Your guide will point out places of interest and tell you local stories and anecdotes. * 12:15 PM: Boat transfer from Taganga to Playa Grande. We will travel for 15 minutes through the calm waters of the Caribbean Sea to reach Playa Grande, this beach captivates its visitors with its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere. Playa Grande stretches along a wide bay and is surrounded by lush green hills and steep cliffs that protect it from the hustle and bustle outside. Upon arriving at this beach, you will be immediately seduced by its crystal clear waters and its serene and natural environment. You won`t find large resorts here, but rather small palm huts and rustic restaurants offering authentic local food and refreshing tropical drinks. You will have free time to enjoy the beach, swim, relax in the sun and explore the surroundings. * 01:30 PM: Lunch. We will meet again with the guide in charge to enjoy a delicious lunch with typical coastal products. The menu varies according to the season and can be adapted to your dietary requirements. * 3:00 PM: After the lunch we will return by boat to Taganga, where we will have free time to explore, enjoy some dessert or buy souvenirs in small businesses. * 4:00 PM: We will board the car again and return to Santa Marta. The services end at approximately 05 PM with the drop off at your place of accommodation.
