Full description

Embark on a guided tour of Yucatán on a full-day tour from Playa del Carmen. Visit the breathtaking Mayan city of Chichén Itzá and the colorful city of Valladolid. Explore the Yucatán jungles, swim in the Hubiku cenote, and enjoy a buffet lunch.

Head into the dense jungles of the Yucatán and stop at the Hubiku cenote, a cavernous freshwater pool in a light-filled limestone cave and enjoy a swim. Dry off over a buffet lunch of typical Mayan dishes and then hop back on the bus for the last leg of the drive to Chichén Itzá. This dense and sprawling archaeological site features excavated ruins and well-preserved temples. The final stop is the quiet colonial city of Valladolid, where the pastel walls of shops and restaurants provide a colorful backdrop for photos.

Great to recommend, our guide Samuel is one of the best we've ever had! Super good understandable English, super funny and very smart and courteous! His knowledge is gigantic and there is an answer to every question. The pickup didn't go perfectly, we had to wait at the Superaki in Tulum at 9:10am for pickup, they arrived around 9:50am. VERY IMPORTANT: Write to Getyourguide the day before and ask about the pick-up location and what time. We then wrote again while waiting and the clerk was then able to contact the guide without any problems and then let me know that they were going to be late. The 30 minutes in the village of Valladolid is super unnecessary, everything else is great. People who book the excursion from Cancun have to be nervous, you drive much longer than we did from Tulum (about 1.5 - 2 hours longer)

was amazed how great tour was . For once was actually picked up at exact time and place . Guide Marco was an exceptional historical guide and just loved that we took an interest. Bus looked brand new and aircon managed well. Our driver got us everywhere safely. The trip was not rushed. Yes it took time but worth it cenote as best had seen ..meal all you can eat usual buffet with salad and desserts. A spotless restaurant too.. Waiters brought me any soft drink inc beer too.. I chose that option on booking. I chose Jamaica soft drink. Fruit and little cake for dessert. Then mezcal tasting. Chichen Itza was amazing and made much more enjoyable with Marco s explanation and jokes and photos. Then 30 minutes in another town ..we could have had 1 hour! Safe journey back A really good experience and a lot better than many tours I have taken. Excellent.

We had Sergio as our guide. He was informative, humorous, extremely friendly and accommodating. He taught us a lot about Mayan culture and is an EXPERT at Chichén Itzá. The food included on the tour was incredible and we greatly enjoyed Chichén Itzá and the village of Hubiku. The bus was clean and comfortable.
