This town is of particular interest due to its tumultuous history, and stunning architecture. Here we can learn about the post-colonial history of the Yucatan, including the uprisings of the Mayan people against the colonization from the Spanish during the 16th century. These charming streets give us the chance to explore the history and wonder of this incredible place. We also have a chance to visit the monastery of San Bernardino during our time together.
