The guide was very nice, spoke very good English and was very attentive to a little kid in our group. The cave is beautiful! The lunch is very simple

Incredible cave tour—one of the best we’ve done! Crystal-clear water, stunning formations, and a magical atmosphere. There are five routes, so if you return, mention which one you’ve done. Wetsuits are optional but recommended—the water’s cold and you’re in it a while. Life jackets are mandatory, and deep spots plus uneven cave floors can be tricky if you’re not confident in water. A highlight was when the guide switched off all lights and led a short meditation in complete darkness—hip-deep in water, it felt otherworldly. She then sang a song, adding to the surreal moment. No personal cameras allowed; their photo package is pricey but high quality. Lunch afterward was great. If driving, call reception on arrival for a van to the caves. A beautiful, unique experience.

Full description

Immerse yourself in an ancient world of stalactites and stalagmites with a visit to Rio Secret in Playa del Carmen. Roam the labyrinths of dramatic rock formations and tranquil waters in this hidden underground network of rivers and caves.
Upon arriving at Rio Secreto, meet your guide and receive a wetsuit, wet shoes, a lamp, and a helmet to get ready for the adventure. Then enter the caves, where you have 1968 feet (600 meters) free to walk, swim, and enjoy the enchanting beauty of your surroundings.
After approximately 1.5 hours, you will be taken back to ground level and treated to a light lunch of delicious local food. Choose the green salsa if your taste buds like it hot.
This is a chance for you to relax in the serene jungle habitat and reflect upon your experience in the caves. Next, you may wash and change before heading back to your hotel.
