Explore the diverse landscapes of Lanzarote on a full-day bus tour of the island and compare the north and south. Get pick-up from your hotel in Playa Blanca, Arrecife, Puerto de Carmen, or Costa Teguise and journey to Timanfaya National Park to see the lunar landscapes formed by the last eruptions of the 18th century. Witness the geothermal activity that provides heat for the island. Then, follow the route of volcanoes as you head south and cross the area bordering Timanfaya and the protected landscape of La Geria. Stop at El Golfo, known for its spectacularly green lake. Go to the capital city at Teguise and admire the stunning views from Peñas del Chache at the highest point on Lanzarote. Take photos of the northeastern coastline and Haria, home of The Valley of the Thousand Palm trees. Finally, visit Jameos del Agua, a series of lava caves with an underground auditorium, restaurant, and salt lake. See nature and mankind come together in this space created by César Manrique. Admire the subterranean gardens, blind albino crabs, and the fascinating museum of La Casa de Los Volcanes. After appreciating artistic creation in harmony with the environment at the volcanic caves, it’s time to go back to Lanzarote.

Get picked up from your hotel and sail from the harbor of Corralejo to Playa Blanca in Lanzarote. From there a bus will take you to the Fire Mountains. Observe the fantastic landscape of the Timanfaya National Park and the geothermal demonstrations in the Islote de Hilario. Next, begin your volcano route and go deep into the lava fields. After a delicious lunch, the bus will pass through La Geria, a wine town. Visit a typical wine cellar and taste the wines of Lanzarote.  Continue across the island to reach the volcano tube Jameos del Agua. Discover unique species, like the albino crab, known as Jameito. From there, return to Playa Blanca, crossing the coast of lava to get the ferry to Fuerteventura.

Sail for 35 minutes from the Corralejo dock with the Buganvilla Express ferry to Lanzarote. Once on the island of volcanoes, you will explore the most important places of the south part of this island. You will drive until the Timanfaya National Park, in order to visit and discover the charms of these unique volcanic and lunar landscapes. After visiting and enjoying the volcanoes, you will head towards the centre of the island to reach La Geria, a very unique area where vines are cultivated in cone-shaped ash holes, a unique worldwide way of farming, where you will have the chance to taste a great Malvasia wine. Afterwards, you will visit the Museum of Aloe Vera, where you will learn about the different uses of this typical local plant and learn about new natural therapies. To finish the excursion you will visit the southern part of the island enjoying the Green Lake or Charco de los Clicos, and finally you will have some free time in Playa Blanca village until you board back in the ferry to return on the island of Fuertevetura
