Pitti Palace was a favorite stop for both my husband & I. We had a little breakfast & carpaccio when we got there at the cafe- hardly anyone around. It was peaceful & quiet. The tour was lovely, interesting, & most importantly DIFFERENT. We were both kinda “over” seeing Jesus on the cross & Mary paintings from all the ages, after awhile they all look alike (miserable) The fashion museum was very interesting & a welcome change of scenery. The rooms state were gorgeous & opulent. The art was interesting- varied- and engaging. All in all I highly recommend.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Palace. Loved looking at all the artwork and costumes through the ages. Also paid for the Boboli Gardens - amazing!
