We had a great time with Tina (Martín)! There was projected to be a storm coming, so he suggested we go to Piran first and the caves after for when the storm was set to arrive. This was a great plan as we were able to enjoy good weather in Piran! His restaurant recommendation and knowledge of the area was amazing! The weather held up even for him to take us to another castle overlook we hadn’t known we would visit! One thing that the listing didn’t mention is that the caves involve 500-600 steps, so there were some in our party who had a difficult time, but the pace was doable and it wasn’t constant stairs the whole time. The storm came in just as we finished the caves. We went from high 70s just the day before to below freezing and snowing! Tina got us back safely despite the inclement weather :) We would highly recommend this tour and would gladly do it again! For reference, we took the tour mid-April 2024.

The caves were amazing. Being so close to these old stalactites and stalagmites was incredible. It didn't feel you were walking for a long time but you were with stops in-between for explanations on what you were seeing. At the end you walked out into the nature and back to the starting point. Piran was also great but unfortunately for us, it rained. On a nice day you could wander the narrow streets forever but I had to find shelter. We were looked after very well by Dushan, sorry I should have gotten the proper spelling of your name. It was a great day despite the weather.

Pick up from different places (if asked), stories about trip and Slovenia through all the ride with a little side tour just to see more. Precise with time table and good atmosphere. Škocjan caves absolutely amazing, but can"t take photos inside (slipery and dark), but you can finally focus on the beauty. Piran - stunning and great food!

Loved it. The time at the stud farm was my highlight. It was great to interact with those beautiful animals! Piran was also great, lovely place for lunch and so nice to be on the sea. Great trip!

Our guide Thomaš was excellent. He explained many things about the caves and about Slovenia in general. I highly recommend this tour!
