The tour itself was great but it could have easily turned into an organizational disaster. At the meeting point we received the tickets with QR codes and once we lined up to enter the basilica, the group before us and our group too realized that the tickets are for two separate dates (My daughter and I got tickets for the chosen date and my husband for the day after). And the guide was saying there’s nothing he can do about it because the number of tickets for that day is already sold out. I mean, hello?!? Who’s fault is that? We paid 78eur per person and this is how they messed up?! Luckily there was this wonderful couple who agreed to replace their tickets for the day after since they were staying few more days. We have acquired tour tickets from Get Your Guide many, many times before and we have never been failed except this one time. In the end it all turned up well but only due to that couple that I mentioned.

Very nice guide, and amazing places. It's totally worth it if you want to understand better the city's history instead of just seeing beautiful things.

Good to know that even with advance tickets, there is likely to be a line, although it moves fairly quickly.

Magnificent St Marco Basilica, Doge's Palace very good but one level below. Great guide.

perfect tour, quick admission, good explanations, motivated guide company
