From the Train Station: Exit the Pinhão Train Station. Walk towards the riverfront (Douro River). If Driving: Park near the station. Head towards the riverfront. Walking Directions: Walk along Avenida da Marginal, parallel to the Douro River. With the river on your left, continue along the road. Pass a walking bridge on your left and go beneath the railroad bridge (it would be the second time you pass beneath the railroad bridge- this part of bridge it's located just beside the river bank) . Reaching the Dock Area: After the railroad bridge, find Pinhão river and docks. Look for signs with the Daurum Solar Boats logo indicating "Daurum Solar Boats" or "Solar Boat Tours." Loved how quiet it was. Loved the wine that was served. My daughter doesn’t drink and was only offered one glass of grape juice. Instead of the 2 glasses everyone else had. Enjoyed a small bowl of almonds as a snack. Both hosts were great but we would have like more comments about different buildings etc. within the landscape. My husband daughter and I felt that was lacking however we understand that it would have been a challenge as there were French tourists as well as English on board. Still it was a wonderful trip. Would recommend.

Es ist richtig schön die Weinberge vom Wasser ais zu betrachten. Wir durften bei einem kurzen Srop ins Wasser springen, dass war wunderbar! Schade war, dass der Traubensaft für Konder derart rationiert ist, dass sie kein zweites Gläschen dürfen. Wenn man für 10 Personen bucht und zahlt, empfindet man das als etwas kleinlich.

Il n’y a absolument rien à redire ! Tout était parfait ! Ballade extrêmement reposante et magnifiques vues sur la vallée du Douro avec une pointe de fraîcheur du fleuve qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement de cette sortie ! Je serai bien restée 1h ou 2 de plus ! Les guides ont été d’une extrême gentillesse et les explications très intéressantes ! Quant à la dégustation du porto, excellent ! Je recommande +++
