Travelers will stop in the middle of the village to have a coffee or visit the Church of São Nicolau. It is a small temple, in neo-Gothic style. Built in the 17th century. You can visit the Church of Saint Nicholas, built in the 17th and 19th centuries, with an interesting cryptomeria alley, 30 minutes away. Our last stop will be at Miradouro da Ponta do Escalvado. Built on a cliff in the westernmost part of the island, Miradouro do Escalvado is one of the ideal places for you to admire the sea and enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets on the island of São Miguel, 15 to 20 minutes away. We will end the tour by taking you back to your hotel or meeting point, 45 minutes.
