Explore Gran Canaria on a guided day trip from Las Palmas in an air-conditioned vehicle. Continue driving to reach Pico de las Nieves, the summit of Gran Canaria, which sits at 1,959 meters where you can enjoy stunning views of the high neighboring peaks, and if the weather is clear, see all the way to the island of Tenerife. Make your way to the Roque Nublo, a huge volcanically-formed basalt rock that is over 65 meters. Stop at the Cross of Tejeda where you can taste plenty of local Canarian products such as cheese, honey, and fruit. Visit the village of Teror, where you can go for a walk through the charming village and see the Basilica of the Lady of the Pine. Return to Las Palmas at the end of your day trip. Important: Minors under 5 years old are not permitted in this tour.

Head to the Bandama volcano, the first stop on this 8-hour tour. See the largest crater of an extinct volcano on the island and enjoy views of the east coast, mountains and Las Palmas. Continue to Santa Brígida, admire its historical centre and learn about its history. Continue up to Pico de las Nieves, the island’s highest point. Take in views that often include the neighbouring island of Tenerife. Visit San Bartolomé, a mountain village with an ethnographic museum that you can visit free of charge. Stop for lunch at a traditional taverna in the village of Fataga (additional cost). Afterwards, head to the Maspalomas sand dunes and enjoy 45 minutes of free time before returning back to Las Palmas.

We will pass track located in the central part of the island, near the highest peak of Gran Canaria - Pico de las Nieves (1957 m above sea level). One of the attractions is the view of the neighboring Roque Nublo, the east and south coast of the island and, if the visibility is good, the view of Pico de Teide (3718 m above sea level). In addition to attractive views of the surrounding villages, we will also see amazing rock formations and forests covered with Canary pine. After hiking we will visit a local restaurant where we will try regional dishes. Attention! Since 2025, access to Roque Nublo has been limited to preserve the environment of this natural jewel, an emblem of Gran Canaria. There is no more parking in the area, you can only get there by public transport or with authorised guides. Therefore, it is not possible to visit it independently. First of all, please let us introduce ourselves: we are Inés & Juanjo, 2 authentic native guides in Gran Canaria. All of our tours are designed for a maximum of 6 passengers. Also, during this experience, we will avoid all kinds of commercial stops and hard selling. We will spend our time to visit the ashtonishing centre of the island, including the most emblematic point in Gran Canaria (Roque Nublo). You will learn about our history, culture and legends in an experience that you will never forget. Last, but not least, a picnic with sandwiches and local fruits is included on the trip. On this tour, which combines breathtaking views and scenery with adventure, culture, local picnic and many other activities, you'll be able to experience Gran Canaria uniquely. We will start our journey in Maspalomas. When we start, we will give you a picnic bag (sandwich, chocolate bar, fruit and bottle of water) so you can use it whenever you want at any of the stops. Our first stop will be Degollada de la Yegua, from where you will discover the spectacular landscape of the valley of 1.000 palm trees. We will drive through this incredible valley, enjoying the combination of farmlands and forests while we climb to the summits of Gran Canaria. During this scenic drive, we will stop in several places to enjoy the views and take some pictures. In Tejeda, which is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, you will have free time to discover this charming place on your own; so you can visit the church and take a walk to enjoy the typical Canarian architecture, go to the Unesco & Biosphere Reserve centre, enjoy a coffee and typical almond sweets in any of its cafés, or just relax with the astonishing views of the "petrified storm". We will continue our journey to get to Pico de las Nieves, the highest point in Gran Canaria, where you will see a 360ºC view of Gran Canaria, including Roque Nublo and Roque Bentayga, Maspalomas Dunes, and some other islands. It is time to descend, We will go through the East side of the island to observe some completely different volcanic landscapes. We will stop at Caldera de los Marteles to discover an ancient volcanic crater and different flora. Finally, we will visit Agüimes, a beautiful village full of local life and culture, to see the beautiful church, the full coloured streets, sculptures and more. We will finally drive back to Maspalomas at the same places in which we picked you.
