Discover the General Guemes Gallery, which has housed an underground theater and party room/tea house since its opening, as well as a famous confectionary on the 14th floor. Founded in homage to the tango icon, Carlos Gradel, the show covers all the main stories of tango and also pays tribute to Zorzal Criollo with his best songs. Learn the basics of tango in a 30-minute class before the performance. Then enjoy an artistic display of the highest calibre, featuring internationally renowned dancers and the best musicians of the genre. Among the five dancing couples, you will find three World Champion Tango Stage duos. The evening had a slow start but once we got into the Theater, the ambiance was amazing. After initially being seated we got a Tango lesson that was quite fun. The dinner was very good as the steak was perfect. The performance was a great representation of both traditional and modern tango. I highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the variety of the show : not only dancing, but also singing and live music. The downside though was the no social distancing/nor mask wearing of other guests. It was also a bit hard to find the venue as it was in an empty alley, but thankfully we managed to find it.
