Pick up from Patong 8.30am (driver arrived 8.50am), taken to nice pier area where there was refreshments, bit of a wait to depart (10am). There was 30 of us on the speedboat. First stop was to nearby the first island for snorkelling off the boat, few fish but not huge amount to see. Both island visits were nice, water very clear, fairly busy with tourists and lots of boats in the bay, I expected it to be a bit quieter at these islands. Food at banana beach was a nice buffer. Guide was enthusiastic. Everything ran smoothly. We were disappointed that we couldn’t kayak as the tide was too low, but hey nothing can be done about that. If you want to relax on nice beaches and clear water then this is great. Speedboat is quick and convenient but if you want to enjoy a leisurely boat ride then this isn’t for you.

journee parfaite ... on nous a récupérés à l hotel vers 9h10 puis on a pris 1 petit dej au port avant de prendre le bateau pour Racha island. 1h sur place. puis départ pour snorkeling avant de rejoindre banana beach où on a eu 1 activité offerte et 1 super thaï lunch. ensuite on a profité de la plage jusque 16h. merci à Tataa et Nanaa . enjoy your trip

This experience is perfect for people who want to spend time relaxing but still want to enjoy a water activity or two. We were picked up in a private van that took us straight to banana beach resort. The guides introduced everything before we headed off to Racha yai, the beach is was beautiful with crystal clear waters perfect for swimming. After this we continued on to a different area in the island and did some snorkelling which was great even for beginners. After this we were taken to banana beach where we had a delicious lunch before being given time to do more swimming, relaxing on the beach and some kayaking before being taken back to our meeting place. We were picked up by a private car and taken back to our hotel. It was the perfect day for us and a very memorable experience.
