Make your best 007 moves on a full-day kayak tour of “James Bond Island” in Phuket. Float past limestone outcrops and explore hidden inlets on a full day in the heat of the sun and the cool of the water.
What to Expect
The miraculous limestone karst formations of James Bond Island, known locally as Ko Tapu or Nail Island, found fame as the setting for the 1974 Bond film "The Man with the Golden Gun." The dramatic topography of the previously unknown Phang Nga Bay quickly became a top tourist attraction in Thailand, and on this full-day tour you will discover it in the best way possible.
After a pick-up from your hotel in Phuket, we will cruise from Ao Po pier to Phang Nga Bay. Relax on deck and take in the breathtaking scenery of the National Park before you arrive in Koh Hong and Koh Panak to proceed to the sea caves by canoe.
Enjoy an approximate hour exploring the sea caves, casting a glance at the silhouettes of junk ships and long tail boats on the horizon. All around locals from the nearby fishing villages will be selling their wares, including seashell trinkets.
After exploring the hidden coves and outcrops, you will return to your cruise ship at 11:30 to sit down to a refreshing Thai buffet lunch.
After lunch, continue to Khao Ping Gan, also known as “The Man with the Golden Gun.” You will visit the white sand beaches of Lawa Island to swim, paddle or simply bury your toes in the sand. At around 16:30, cruise back to Ao Po Pier for Phuket and transfer back to your hotel.
