What to Expect
The tour begins with a comfortable and scenic drive aboard your tour group's coach from Phoenix to Sedona. Besides the Grand Canyon, Sedona has some of the most stunning natural red rock formations in all of Northern Arizona. Once the tour reaches Sedona, you'll have time for a quick stretch, use of restroom facilities, and picture taking!
Departing Sedona,the coach travels to Grand Canyon National Park via the Scenic Corridor of Northern Arizona. Oak Creek and Oak Creek Canyon are a scenic bonus enroute to the Grand Canyon.
Upon arrival at the Grand Canyon you'll be taken to Bright Angel Lodge, one of the original overnight guest lodges at Grand Canyon. Situated on the rim of the canyon, and in the center of transportation facilities its an excellent location to launch rim exploration adventures.
You'll have free time to explore all the immediate area has to offer including Kolb Studio, a small museum inside the main lodge, and the many viewpoints along the rim. Ground time is approximately 3 hours.
Once tour gathers together again you'll then travel along the eastern rim of the canyon en-route to to the Navajo Nation. Here the tour makes a brief 30-minute stop at the Navajo Trading Post, giving you the chance to visit a Navajo Trading Post and glimpse views of the painted desert. Restrooms are also available.
