Full description

The experience begins even before you rise into the sky. Help our crew inflate the balloon for a real "hands on" adventure, or just relax and take a few pictures as the gentle giant comes alive. Once you gain altitude, enjoy vistas you have to see to believe as you float over the Arizona landscape. Phoenix lies beneath you while desert stretches to the distant mountains. The pilots are FAA-licensed and experienced in navigating with your safety and enjoyment in mind. Your pilot will also answer questions and identify points of interest during your 1-hour flight. A chase crew will follow on the ground and meet you at the landing site. From there a van takes you back to the launch site. Upon your return, enjoy a celebratory toast to cap your unique airborne adventure. You'll also be presented with a flight certificate. With the ground travel and other activities, plan to spend up to 3.5 hours with us in total.

Know before you go

Anyone who is pregnant or possibly pregnant cannot go on the tour. Children must be at least 5 years old.
If Rainbow Ryders has to cancel your flight because of inclement weather, no charge will be made. We will do our best to reschedule your balloon ride to another date.
48-hour cacellation policy. We will charge a 50% deposit for late cancellations or no shows.

It was a 27th anniversary surprise for my wife she was thrilled for the moment she was told. We both had a fabulous experience and wonderful full filled time. Or pilot and ground crew were great from the time we arrived at the setup and launch site to our recovery and return to home base. If you’ve never been or have and anxiety about going forget them. Sign up and go young or old it’s a trip you’ll never regret.

This is our first hot air balloon ride. It is quite the experience especially with the bumpy landing - as expected. It would be great if the operator will tell us more about what we see up in the air - especially since they have been flying for quite some times. We would love to get as much as information/knowledge from the operator/guide about what we see from high above. We saw the sunrise before our balloon was up. The transportation from check-in to take off/landing are back to check-in is great and very professional. The crew works fast and know what they are doing. Even though on the instruction they suggested that we should/can help with folding/opening the balloon, we were lucky that we didn't have to do that. Thank you for the ride.

Can't wait to book a Sunset flight on our next visit to Phoenix!

Our original flight was canceled due to winds. The communication and rescheduling we're effortless! Pilot Steve and his crew were helpfull, informative and have a great sense of humor. This was a sunrise flight, will be booking a sunset flight on our next vacation! Something I will be looking forward to! Excellent company! A+++
