Full description

Enjoy the scenic drive down Arizona's first designated "Historic Highway" and scenic byway. This breathtaking road got its start as an Indian route and eventually became the supply route for one of the first reclamation projects in the U.S. It is now a system of four desert lakes, the largest being formed by Roosevelt Dam at the end of the trail. Travel in a 13-seat high-roof van on this small group tour and enjoy a more personalized experience. This 8 hour tour showcases Canyon Lake, where you'll enjoy a 90 minute Dolly Steamboat Cruise. Visit the colorful stagecoach stop of Tortilla Flat and the ghost town of Goldfield where you’ll get picture-perfect glimpses into Arizona's rambunctious western past.

Nice day. Good guide/driver. The tour was well paced with many stops. Enjoyed the scenery throughout the drive as well as scenic walks. It was a very picturesque time of year (early May) and pleasant temps. My personal favorite stop was Tortilla Flat. Great little 'old west' stop. The boat ride on Canyon Lake was so peaceful and relaxing. And last, the time at the Ghost/Mining town was a fun finish to the day. All and all a good day!
