What to Expect
Spend a day exploring St. Martin and the surrounding islands on a boat tour departing from Philipsburg. See St. Martin's hot spots on both the Dutch and French sides, and visit Tintamarre and Pinel islands.
Your tour starts from Philipsburg, the capital of the Dutch side of the island. Begin your trip by heading to Simpson Bay lagoon, where many of the world's biggest mega yachts are located. Continue by Marigot, the French capital, to Friars Bay and Happy Bay, where you will stop off at a beach that is not accessible by car.
Next, make your way to Tintamarre Island, a nature reserve, and enjoy swimming with sea turtles and relaxing on the beach. Then continue to Pinel Island, another nature reserve spot, with clear and shallow water.
Head back to St. Martin to stop at Grand Case for lunch at the famous restaurant, Lolos. Then take a ride to the best snorkeling spot at Creole Rock. Continue along the French shore by the Terres Basses, to La Samanna, a 5-star resort with clear water that is great for taking underwater photos.
