As you continue to tour Philadelphia, swing by a historic deli, duck into a tempting bakery, and stroll along Christian Street before arriving at the sounds, aromas, and sights of the famous Italian market or, more accurately, the South 9th Street Curb Market. The market is the oldest and largest everyday open-air market in the USA, and it’s easy to understand why it is one of Philly’s must-see attractions. With your local guide leading the way on this Philly tour, explore the huge variety of stores located here, many of which are Italian in heritage. Our tour was great!!! Our guide Alain was very knowledgeable, funny and entertaining. He told some great stories, and also had an IPAD to show us pictures of the sites from long ago. We were able to see all of the big sites and had time to walk around at the FDR Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial. I would highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour!! Peter was personable, professional and knowledgeable. My elderly parents were visiting from Illinois and Peter was especially patient and kind. The tour was just the right amount of time and we received a very thorough and comprehensive tour. Thank you Peter! You help to make our day!
