You'll be picked up from your hotel in Khao Lak at 7:45 AM before heading north. Enjoy some sightseeing along the way. At 8:30 AM, you'll arrive at Takuapa Morning Market and get a chance to see local life and try some Thai delicacies. Set off in a canoe rowed by the local partner's crew in the Little Amazon at 9:20 AM. Enjoy sightseeing in the swamp forest, surrounded by hundred-year-old banyan trees and mangrove forest. Reptiles and various kind of birds can be seen on the canoe trip also, so keep your eyes peeled.  At 11:30 AM, visit the Sai Rung Waterfall and freshen up with a swim before heading back to Khao Lak, returning to your hotel around midday.

After pickup from your hotel, head to the Khao Village and create your own batik painting. From there, continue on to the fishermen's village to find out more about how they live their life. Next, visit a coconut farm and sample some coconut water cut fresh from the trees. Head on to a beautiful rice farm and learn about the local rice farmer's way of life as you admire the island's lush pastoral interior. Finally, enjoy the magnificent view at Manoh Pier if you go on the morning program or a sunset view at Anpao Pier. The tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.

Local Market - Start your adventure bright and early with complimentary pickup from your hotel in Khao Lak. Enjoy the sights of local life in the southern part of Thailand as you drive to your first stop at the local market. - At the market you first decide what you would like to cook. If you do not know already, you can choose from the menu of 38 different dishes or ask our professional guide at the same time our Chef for help and advice. There is always a dish for each cook in the class plus a few extras thrown in. Our chef can offer experience to help decide which dishes will compliment each other and the group decides the final menu for the day and the shopping list is then set. - Our chef will explain more about the ingredients as you explore the market. There’s plenty of opportunity to ask questions, to smell the fresh Thai herbs, to see how fresh coconut milk is made and choose the best, select items for the shopping basket. This takes around 45 minutes, then it’s time to head to the kitchen. Food preparation - Once back from the market there will be time for refreshments whilst the ingredients are washed. Under the watchful eye of our chef, everyone will be designated tasks and begin to prepare the ingredients. You will learn how to peel, chop and slice everything the Thai way. One of the highlights is certainly learning how to roll your own Thai spring rolls. When everything is ready it’s time to head over to the kitchen where our gas hobs ready for cooking. Fine Thai Dining - On Your own Thai Creations - Finally, when everything is finished it’s time for the best part of the day, to sample what everybody has made. Lunch is served in traditional Thai style with everyone seated around a large table and all dishes laid out in the middle of the table. There’s always plenty of food so you get to try everything plus an extra portion or two of your favorites. During lunch, you will also learn which condiments suit certain dishes and get the chance to ask our Chef any final questions. After that, with a full belly it’s time to collect your recipes and head back to your hotel.

Your tour will begin as you meet your guide in the lobby at your hotel. From there you will travel to your tour's starting point to set up your bike. A cycling tour is a great choice if you like outdoor adventure, providing you with fantastic impressions of what's around Koh Yao Noi. It will allow you to become immersed in the culture, rural life, and beautiful scenery of the area. You will begin by pedaling along a quiet road, observing the way of life in the community of Koh Yao noi as you make your way to Baan Tha Khao. You'll soon arrive to Pa Sai Beach, one of Koh Yao Noi’s main beaches. Pa Sai Beach is a pleasant and quiet crescent of sand which is fringed by palm trees and hills, and whilst there you'll have time to explore the beach, relax, and take pictures at your leisure. Following that, enjoy a delicious lunch at a homestay in Koh Yao Noi before continuing your ride following the local main road. On your way back you can encounter various professions in the community, such as rubber tapping, rice farming, mangrove forests, and community markets. Finally, you will enjoy a fresh coconut and local snacks, before you are returned back to your accommodation at 4:00PM.
