I had an amazing time during this activity. I am a solo female traveler and Bardaghawi picked me up from my accommodation and he was incredibly kind, helpful and amazing. He also contacted a local Petra guide for me after i decided I wanted a local guide. When we arrived to Petra, Bardaghawi walked me to the local guide Mohammad. Mohammad was amazing. He showed me around and explained everything. I’m very grateful for my driver Bardaghawi. After I explored Petra, Bardaghawi recommended a local restaurant and took me there so I could have dinner before Petra by night. Unfortunately Petra by night was canceled due to the weather. However, Bardaghawi called Petra to double check, gave me plenty of time for dinner & shopping and took me back to Amman. Very thankful for him & Mohammad!!!❤️

This tour was an absolute highlight of our trip! A 16-hour journey might sound exhausting, but with Abu Anas at the wheel, it was anything but. From start to finish, he made sure every moment was comfortable, engaging, and well-planned. Abu Anas arrived 15 minutes early, ready with a game plan and options tailored to our preferences. Petra by Day and Petra by Night are breathtaking, but the six hours in between could have felt long—if not for Abu Anas’ expert planning. He lined up amazing restaurant options and activities that kept us entertained, making time fly by. And let’s talk about endurance—this man was fasting the entire time and still provided top-tier service. Pre-iftar Abu Anas? A solid 10/10. Post-iftar Abu Anas? Off the charts at 12/10! The entire experience was seamless, fun, and far from tiring, thanks to his thoughtful itinerary and warm hospitality. If you’re considering this tour, do yourself a favor and book ASAP

Full description

Start your visit to the astonishing rock city of Petra by yourself or with your local guide if hired. This fascinating ancient Nabatean capital dominated the Arabian trade routes and is a must-see in the Middle East. You will pass the Siq, a narrow gorge where you get the first close views of the colorful sandstone, ending at the beautiful Treasury. Walk along the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs, the Theater, and Qasr Al Bint. Free time on your own, then walk the same way back to the entrance gate. The average time customers spend in Petra is 5 hours, but you are free to extend the length of your stay if you are willing to visit Petra by night.

Experience a unique and magical way to see Petra. This nighttime experience begins at 8:30 PM from the visitors center and lasts for about 2 hours. Your experience starts with a pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Amman. 

Begin your unique experience with a stroll along Al-Siq in complete silence to indulge in the mesmerizing sights around you. Hundreds of candles light the path on either side. Upon arriving at the treasury, sit down and enjoy listening to traditional Jordanian music played by local Bedouins while being surrounded by candles. 

Gaze at what’s left of the natural landscapes, rocks, and mountains, and experience a star-lit sky. The candles and moon create stunningly beautiful and magical scenes all around. When the event ends, head back toward Amman in a climate-controlled vehicle.
