The trip went above and beyond our expectations!! What made the trip so amazing was our guide Renilo who was super knowledgeable, passionate about the Amazon and really friendly. He made sure we got as much out of the day as possible - we went monkey island, then the animal conservation center where we also got to try some amazing local drinks, impromptu hiking in the jungle and canoeing, swimming in the Amazon, catching fish, and finally seeing pink dolphins as the sun was setting! We also stoped for lunch at the lodge Cumaceba where the staff was so friendly and welcoming and we had a an amazing 3 course lunch, the facilities were very nice as well. We highly recommend this and highly suggest touring with Renilo he really made the experience and we learned so much!! Note to future travelers: wear long pants! I got eaten alive by mosquitos
