From Perth: Rottnest Island Ferry & Admission

Zur Fähre: schnell, unkompliziert und freundliches Personal. Zur Insel: definitiv einen Abstecher wert. Abgesehen von den Quokkas, gibt es mehrere Wanderwege, von denen man zumindest den blauen gelaufen sein sollte. Hier stehen viele alte Bunker und die Atmosphäre entlang des Meeres lässt einen einfach nur lächeln.

We took the ferry across to Rottnest for the first time yesterday since being in Australia, the island didn’t disappoint. The ferry was easy and no hassle at all. I would like to mention a lady called Jess, I didn’t have much contact with her personally myself however I did see her with lots of families with children and she was great, her customer service skills were incredible, I haven’t ever actually seen anybody love their job as much as she did. She was super friendly with everybody and was just an asset to the boat. Both my partner and I noticed her and commented about how there aren’t many people like her in that job in the UK. She really is a great member to have on your team! Really happy, and we are looking forward to our next trip!!

Great day on rotto, hired push bikes for $30 per bike. Weather was perfect. Beers are expensive on the boat. The electronic tickets i received from getyourguide.com did not work when i scanned them at the boat. I had to run into the ticket booth and show them to the girl there who printed me off the legit tickets which left us with 1 minute to spare before the boats departure.
