Top attractions in Perth
Perth in western Australia is set along the Swan River and the Indian Ocean and it gets more sunshine than any other city in Australia so it is the perfect place for being outdoors. Take a walking tour for sightseeing in the city that the mining boons created. Hear stories about pioneers and events that shaped the city. Explore beautiful gardens and see the Swan River. You'll even discover the best bars in town.
Take a combined coach tour and river cruise and see Kings Park, Cottesloe Beach, the Western Australia cricket ground, and the Perth Mint. While cruising down the river, you can enjoy the architecture and views along the Swan River including the Swan Bell Tower.
On a walking tour of historic Fremantle, the port city of Perth, you'll see the scenic town with its dock and warehouses. But a good guide can bring to life the stories of the Aborigines and outlaws who pasted through this port. Art galleries and museums display local art.
You can see the natural side of Fremantle at one of the beaches or by taking a bushwalk in the city park. For snorkeling go to Rottnest Island with its reef to see the underwater wildlife.
What people are saying about Perth
Absolutely awesome would be an understatement. Tim's experience in the French wine regions shines through in his detailed knowledge of the process of wine, champagne and our sparkling whites from vine to table. He has selected several fine vinyards to visit with some outstanding products and staff that make you feel like old friends right from stepping through the cellar door. As for lunch, you will have to try for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Tim for making this a special day.
Very informative and entertaining. Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to hear. The only problem was the confusion over the meeting point. Getyourguide told us on our ticket to meet at the green cactus in Forrest Place but Oh Hey WA sent an email saying the start was at Yagan square. Luckily they were close to each other!
Its my first time to join a wine tasting tour and its a lovely experience! Booking with Out and About Wine Tour is great, our tour guide/driver Claude is very informative and friendly, you will surely enjoy your trip.
The boat was cleaned before we boarded, all the railings were done which was great. We were right in among the dolphins, so the skipper knew his stuff. A beautiful day made it even better.
Personally I thought there was too many people on the boat. It was hard to go from side to side of the boat to see the whales, which was a shame. I did see a dolphin or two though.
