Perissa Black Sand Beach: Tours & Tickets
What people are saying about Perissa Black Sand Beach
So much packed into one day (in a great way). The best bit was our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable in showing us around her village (embarrassingly I don’t remember the name), Emporio village, the highest point of the island, red beach and the wine museum. She gave many other interesting facts about the formation of the caldera, local cuisine etc. We also really enjoyed some free time on Perissa beach (the black beach) where we were able to swim and grab some food in a restaurant. A great tour especially if you don’t have loads of time to see the island.
This is a great tour to get to know Santorini! Our guide was knowledgeable and kept us all engaged even though it was extremely hot during that day and we were all affected by the sun. We learned a lot about the history of Santorini, culture and local life, visited many different places - we got to see the most important things in one day. It was extremely hot so make sure to bring a hat and a glass of water. Maybe some snacks as well since lunch is a bit late. A great tour to get to know Santorini in one day.
Our guide was Catalina, she was super friendly in the most genuine way. She is extremely knowledgeable about the island and Greece in general and made the entire 10 hours fly by! Offered great recommendations for things to do outside the tour as well. She made the whole experience fantastic and I would definitely recommend having her has your tour guide if you can. With the spots we stopped at for pictures were awesome! I would do it all again for sure! 5/5 stars
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and kind! We spent the whole day looking around the whole city and I feel that was enough to see everything there is to see in Santorini. Now the driver, oh my goodness he is amazing!!! To get in those tiny streets requires a skill! The only downfall was the bus itself, very old and some seats where broken.
Wonderful tour with modification in the itinerary due to COVID. We were not able to tour the archeological site, but visited the town of Pyrgos. Wine tour was great, and loved the beach time. We stayed in Oia, so the 2 hours there was in our opinion excessive, but I suppose for others it may have been time well spent.
