Pick up from Bali to drive to Java Started from picking you up from Bali area in the evening around 7 PM Bali Time, the time pick up will be depend on your location in Bali. We can pick you up from Denpasar, Ubud, Pemuteran, and other favourite places in Bali. Crossing the ferry for about 45 minutes, then directly drive to Paltuding base to start your Kawah Ijen Midnight Hike for 1 hour. Kawah Ijen Midnight Hike Arriving at Paltuding at around 02.00 AM, have a short rest for preparing the hike while we do the registration. Start your hike trough the steep track in the dark under the moon light and stars. Arrive at the crater top we need to descent the crater for about 30 minutes walk. Beware of the narrow rocky track, please use your good shoes with proper grip to make the walk easier. See the blue fire phenomenon at the crater lake bottom and see how the sulfur mining processed. After seeing the blue fire, we take you hike back to the top of the crater to get to panoramic view point. Here you can see the whole landscape of Kawah Ijen from the top, enjoy the spectacular view of the green acid lake. This become the best place to take a selfie photo and make a short video for your instagram feed. Fly a drone from here is also a good idea to capture the whole landscape of the area. Meet the strongest men in the earth who can carry almost 100 Kg of sulfur rocks on their shoulder only using a handmade bamboo basket. Be more respectful to them as they are not just a tourist attraction by simply say hello when you met them, sharing a path with them, or maybe you can buy a souvenir they made for small money. Coffee & Rubber Plantation Stop Over (optional) - On the way back to Banyuwangi we will stop over at local coffee plantation, aside of the coffee plantation we also can see the rubber latex trees. Want a change to try your hand at cooking authentic Balinese dishes under the supervision of our excellent local chefs? the activity will start at 11.00 am for preparing lunch or 17.00 for preparing dinner. At begining we will introduce you to our organic farm at backyard of the Restaurant and Accomodation, pick some fresh ingredients that ussual for us to use at our kitchen. We will going to snorkeling at Menjangan island or people known as Deer Island.
