The boat was completely overcrowded. At least 15 people didn't get a seat. The safety standards are a disaster. The staff couldn't or didn't want to understand English. We had to sit squashed together on the deck. The trip from Padang Bai to Gili Air took almost 4 hours. The trip was advertised as taking 2 hours and with a padded seat. We certainly didn't expect luxury, but this was awful.
