Overall rating
Our tour to Mycenae, Nafplio and Epidaurus was unforgettable! We were picked up on time at our hotel and were able to track the bus via the website, which was very helpful. Our guide Lilly and driver Alex welcomed us warmly. Both spoke excellent English and with only five people in the group the atmosphere was personal and intimate. Lilly gave us a lot of insight into modern and ancient Greek culture. Her stories about history and mythology were captivating and clear. In Mycenae we had an expert archeological guide who let us experience the rich history of the site. In Nafplio Lilly told us about the city and gave us some free time to explore and have lunch. The last stop was Epidaurus, where we had a local guide who took us through the museum and the impressive theater. Lilly and Alex were great, and we learned a lot. This tour is an absolute must for anyone who wants to understand Greece better!
I enjoyed the smaller group size that helped me get to know some of the other travelers. I also liked the storytelling efforts on the bus ride to each site, as well as the different tour guides we met there. Overall it was a very peaceful and insightful experience!
