From here, the adventure continues on foot. The 6-kilometer downhill trail winds gently through a dreamlike setting of olive groves, towering cypress, wild figs, and the island’s signature pine forests. Did you know Skopelos is home to up to eight million pine trees? It’s a living, breathing forest paradise bursting with fragrant herbs and colorful wildflowers. Our first pause is at a local vineyard, where we take in the rustic charm of Skopelos' winemaking tradition. Shortly after, we reach the tiny hidden chapel of Panagitsa (dedicated to the Virgin Mary) for a moment of serenity and a quick rest. As we continue, panoramic views unfold—stretching across the Aegean Sea to Pelion on the mainland, the mystical island of Evia, and the sparkling Pagasetic Gulf. It’s the kind of scenery that makes you stop in your tracks. Llaria beach was such a highlight, so beautiful and a must do if visiting skiathos. We stopped at two other locations which were very nice, the lunch stop had very little to do, it would have been nice to be somewhere that potentially had some nice walks, we did have a wander around but mainly ended up looking at peoples lovely houses.

I went with my husband and my 15 year old daughter and we were very happy. We liked the 4 stops to swim in different places and especially in Lalaria. It is not the classic trip around the island and the boat accommodates an adequate number of people. We were so happy that we also did the sunset tour a couple of days later.

Very pleasant day on the heavenly beaches of Skiathos, mostly not reachable by scooter or car. Lalaria is crazy especially in the morning! Only complaint: I would take less lunch break and more time in Lalaria! For the rest everything beautiful. Thanks!
