The Driver, mr Zhang Feng is an absolute legend. Very kind and took us halfway up the wall to make sure we were going in the right direction then let us do the self guided tour. all the water you need free from him in the car. the section of the wall was practically empty after you passed the first part with the lifts. very peaceful. When we got back mr Zhang gave us fresh water coke and even beer! he also gave us a free souvenir and a chinese flag. very sweet man.
Our tour was brilliant. Zhang Feng was a fantastic driver and guide. He made our trip very easy and even came and took lots of photographs for us on the wall which was really special - as solo travellers we often don’t get pictures together. The section of the wall we visited was fantastic, we had it to ourselves in some places! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend😊
