Hong Kong: Peak Tram and Sky Terrace 428 Pass

Hong Kong: Peak Tram and Sky Terrace 428 Pass

Experience riding the Peak Tram, one of the world's oldest and most famous funicular railways that rises to an altitude of 396 metres or about 1,300 feet above sea level. With over 130 years of service, the Peak Tram has served as an enduring symbol of Hong Kong’s rich heritage and retains its status as one of the country's few remaining historical public transportation systems. As you travel uphill for approximately 10 minutes, observe the optical illusion of buildings seemingly tilting towards Victoria Peak, also known as The Peak. This phenomenon is caused by the tram's steep ascent and the passengers' reclined position. The journey concludes at The Peak Tower, a vibrant hub of dining, shopping, and entertainment options, all set against the backdrop of the city. Upon reaching the summit of Victoria Peak, visit Sky Terrace 428, the highest viewing platform in Hong Kong. From this elevated vantage point, delight in panoramic views of the cityscape, Victoria Harbour, and Island South, encompassing towering skyscrapers and picturesque landscapes. With its open-air design, Sky Terrace 428 offers a 360-degree perspective, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the beauty of Hong Kong from every angle.

well-commented, interesting and well-constructed visit, so much so that we did the green line again in the afternoon after the red line in the morning 😀👌👍 for the green line there are splendid views but the driver drives very fast....time requires😵‍💫😋😂 and it's a shame because it's almost impossible to take photos 📷 but the road is also complicated and that must not make things easier...we can understand, but we regret not having been able to immortalize this part of the truly magnificent island as we would have liked

It was super cool. We took the East Route to the last stop. We were able to see so much of the best side of the city during the journey that it was really impressive. Luckily we already had the tickets for the train. You had to exchange them at the front and then it went quickly. It's best to go in the morning. In the afternoon there are queues for miles. The view was sensational.

The tour with Eva was outstanding!!! She picked us up at the hotel and we had a great time/tour with her. Super organised, great information and and a lot of fun. At the end we had dinner together with her and she brought us back to the hotel. We could highly recommended her for everybody who wants to do a private tour in Hong Kong. Thanks again to Eva

Excellent way to see and get around Hong Kong with the Big Bus company running 2 routes on Hong Kong island and 1 around Kowloon. The 48hr ticket was excellent value with the Peak Tram and White Star Ferry included. The buses on the Kowloon route could do with being more frequent as only run every hour, otherwise excellent.

A great destination for tourists. It got really busy around lunchtime but once you're at the top everything disappears and you always discover something new.
