Departing from a central location in Bordeaux, this small group tour explores the beautiful Medoc wine-growing region of France. You will head towards the famous wine-producing appellations such as Margaux, Saint Julien, Pauillac and Saint Estephe. You will enjoy 3 visits in Classified Growth or Cru Bourgeois estates that have been carefully selected for their exceptional setting and quality of wine. You will learn all there is to know about the history of the estates, the wine making process, as well as the techniques used during wine making. A wine tasting session follows the visits. The Medoc area covers approximately 5,700 hectares of declared vineyards, producing an average 300,000 hectoliters of wine per year. Of the grape varieties permitted, 50% of the viticultural area is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and to a lesser extent Petit Verdot and Malbec. Also allowed within the AOC regulations are the varieties Cabernet Franc and Carménère. BEST Medoc tour. Definitely recommended. We really enjoyed the tour. The guide, Kevin was super great. He is funny and very heartful always taking care of us. The tour contents are very rich! We had a winery tour at a beautiful château and the château's guide was also super nice. He gave us insightful explanation about wine. Tasting moment was really fun and the wine was my favorite. We also visited so many châteaus outside in only a few hours and took great pictures at every château. We didn't know much about wine before spending wonderful time in this tour. Now we get more interested in wine and would like to try lots of wine!

Our guide Helen was extremely passionate. Beautiful chateau and vineyards along the way. It’s just the chateau we visited only offered 2 types of wine for tasting. Would be nice if it was more but I was told that it normal everywhere in medoc.

Had a great time! Our guide Luigi was very informative and had a great personality! Would recommend going on this if you have never been to the area it’s a good sample of different places.

It was a really fun and educational wine experience. Our guide Helene was spectacular.

Very sweet and nice tour guide, the tour was amazing!
