Make your way through paradise on the ancient path that used to connect the sleepy hamlet of Nocelle near Positano to Bomerano in Agerola just outside Naples. Named after the natural beauties of its views, the trail is considered one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the world. Discover the remains of ancient farmhouses and meet local shepherds carrying wood with their mules, or milk to remote towns dotted around the hills and along the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. There are 2 different paths starting from Nocelle or Bomerano, the guide will select the best route based on traffic, weather and season. Path of the Gods presents one of the most striking panoramas on Earth: when you reach halfway, the path crosses from Bomerano to Nocelle to reveal the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast. Beside the path you will admire caves and terraces dropping from the cliffs to the sea creating deep picturesque valleys. Among the Amalfi Coast high routes, this hike is the most famed traverse, taking you on a return journey from Nocelle to Colle Serra. You will have a multitude of opportunities to capture the serene beauty on camera throughout your adventure.  You will arrive at the final destination and highlight, Punta Campanella, which is joined under the sea to the stunning island of Capri. Join your guide in central Sorrento to reach Nocelle and immerse yourself in this amazing Italian experience.

Enjoy the pickup from your accommodation in Positano at your preferred morning time and travel in comfort to the starting point of the Path of the Gods in Bomerano (easternmost point). Admire the stunning views of the countryside as you cruise and feel free to ask your native English-speaking driver any questions you might have about the area (local culture, food, etc...). Arrive at the Path of the Gods, relaxed and full of energy. Hike by yourself along this breathtaking trail back to the center of Positano.

Path of the Gods is an amazing hike from Agerola (Amalfi) to Nocelle (Positano), cause you can see all the Amalfi Coast, Salerno's and Napoli's gulf, Cilento and Capri. The tour ends in Nocelle (Positano), than you can decide either to get 1800 steps down to Positano, or the bus to Positano. 4 Ds of the Gods' path: Difficulty: E (Moderate), Duration: 3 hours , Dislivell: 250 meters going down and Distance: 7 kms ( 5 miles). So you need to be Moderate fit and wear good grip shoes. During the summer you can bring a swimming suit, cause in Positano there is a fantastic beach called Fornillo. Meet your professional driver in the center of Sorrento, then board a van and drive to the hills of Aregola, a small village overlooking the Amalfi Coast. Upon arrival, get welcomed by your hiking guide and receive a short briefing about the hike. Have time for a drink and comfort break, then begin the tour's most active and scenic part by walking toward the natural path in the rocky mountains of the coast. After about an hour of walking — during which the guide will give in-depth explanations about the nature, landscape, and world surrounding the Path of the Gods — arrive at the panoramic viewpoint. There, enjoy some time to take spectacular photos of Positano from above before continuing along a high variant stretch of the normal path to the starting point. Meet your driver again in Aregola and then return to Sorrento in the van.

The day starts with prívate pick up from your accommodation and drop off at Bomerano. The hike’s main section is about 6.5 km starting from the small villages of Bomerano (in Agerola). There are beautiful sea views and coastal towns below along the way. You will have an astonishing hike past towering limestone mountains, colourful wildflowers, and ancient abandoned stone houses, and through forests and meadows of long grass. Once you get to Nocelle the driver will be waiting for you to take you back to your accommodation.
