Parque Kennedy, Lima

Start the adventure in Miraflores from a very nice street to “Parque Kennedy”, a very popular area visited by both, locals and foreigners. Travel to one of the main avenues and head towards Miraflores coast to reach the beautiful and romantic “Parque del Amor” Move on to Barranco, the bohemian and arts district. Visit the mythical “Puente de los Suspiros” and see the beautiful art murals in the streets of this district. Make frequent stops along the tour for water or admiring the scenery with your local tour guide, while learning about the popular and historical culture of the country. Explore a beautiful small park full of huge trees and unique monuments. Admire the area, surrounded by the Cathedral, City Hall, and the old fashioned Library. Finish the tour by returning to the initial meeting point.

1. Our first visit will be the Historic Center of Lima, where you will about the local culture and history with the assistance of your guide. Admire the monuments of Plaza Mayor, The cathedral, Archbishop's Palace, the San Francisco Monastery, the Catacombs and more 2. After the City Tour we will have lunch in a local restaurant. 3. Our second stop will be to one of highest points of the city, located in Chorrillos district, to go to the historical “Morro Solar”, where an outstanding view will be waiting for us, we will learn about the history of this spot and Peru in general. 4. The next spot is the bohemian and artistic district of Barranco, which is the smallest district of Lima. We will visit the Plaza, the romantic “Puente de los suspiros”. In addition, we will take a look at the beautiful art murals of this traditional neighborhood. 5. We continue to Miraflores, where we will visit the romantic “Parque Del Amor” that has an artsy sculpture made by a well recognized artist and it offers a panoramic view of the Peruvian sea. Then, we go towards “Parque Kennedy” for a walk throughout the park and have a nice conversation about the history of such a popular place. 6. Finally, we'll go to local market in Surquillo, wher you where we will learn about many products we grow and harvest in our country and also learn about the Peruvian gastronomy, We will have the oportunity to taste fruits and exotic products brought from different regions of Peru (Coast, Andes and Amazon).

On top of this historical dune, your tour guide will introduce you to the rich history of this spot and Peru in general. 2. From there, head to the smallest district of Lima, the bohemian neighborhood of Barranco. Visit its atmospheric plaza as well as the romantic Puente de Los Suspiros or Bridge of Sighs. Spot impressive street art and murals as you wander Barranco's narrow streets. 3. Move on to the colorful district of Miraflores and wander around the romantic Parque Del Amor, which features a sculpture by well-known local artist Victor Delfín and offers a panoramic view of the Pacific coastline. Then head to Parque Kennedy, a favorite local hangout. Learn about the history of the park and get acquainted with the many cats living among the trees. 4. After working up an appetite, visit a traditional local market in the Surquillo district. Learn about the many products grown and harvested in Perú and immerse yourself in Peruvian gastronomy. Best of all, you will sample local tasty snacks. Finally, our professional driver will drop you off at your hotel or address.

We will start by picking you up from your accommodation and then we will head to the Olive Park . We will start by visiting the beautiful Parque del Olivar (San Isidro) that was declared a National Monument in 1959 and Monumental Zone in 1998. Nice place to see birds, reptiles, mammals and fish that carry out their life cycle within El Olivar Park. Afterwards, we will head towards Miraflores for a panoramic view of the impressive Pucllana Ruins, which was an important ceremonial center developed in 200 AD. Also we'll visit the Kennedy Park is one of the most important public spaces in Miraflores, also known as "the park of the cats" because it is home to approximately 80 cats. Then, we'll see the beatifull Love Park is surrounded by walls decorated with beautiful mosaics and romantic phrases in Spanish and Quechua. Park inspired by the Park Güell in Barcelona. We will visit the spectacular bohemian streets of Barranco that are surrounded by beautiful murals that transmit our Peruvian culture. We will visit the most famous romantic bridge in Barranco known as the "Puente de los suspiros" (Bridge of Sighs). It is the perfect place to meet, relax and have fun as it is full of history, love and inspiration. Last but not least, we will visit the district of Corrillos, which is surrounded by a group of hills, as well as the Monument to the Unknown Soldier, the Morro Solar planetarium, the Pope's Cross and the Christ of the Pacific or Redeemer. After the tour, we will return you to your hotel or, if you wish, we can drop you off at a restaurant or any other location of your preference (only if you are staying in Miraflores, Barranco or San Isidro).
