Starting from the local partner's shop in Miraflores, cruise along bike paths to explore Barranco. After a short safety briefing from your instructor, start your 3-hour guided tour. You can start riding north or south and staff can assist you with finding best route for you. If you're hungry during your ride, staff can also give you some recommendations about where to go for lunch. If you're planning to go to Larco Museum, it is recommended you to have data on your phone be able to follow instructions on how to get there. Your bikes are good quality with seven gears, aluminum frames, comfortable seats, and big tires for optimal control. Biking around Miraflores, San Isidro, Barranco, or Chorrillos is easy and safe. Then, we are going to reach the waterfront promenade to appreciate the beautiful coast, known as Costa Verde. We will arrive to the bohemian neighborhood of Barranco having the best ocean views. This place stands out for its cultural and bohemian nightlife, as well as a high-value Republican architecture and streets full of charm and street art. The Barranco bike tour will take you to the famous Bridge of Sighs, a beautiful bridge of wood dated from the 19th century and it was built with the purpose to link the district’s gorge, but it had to be rebuilt after the Pacific War. Located under this bridge is the “lowered of the baths”, a stone road that was used by fishermen to get the beach. Barranco has a special charming and many coffee shops with a spectacular food.
