A wonderful way to spend half a day, and an easy excursion from Parma, especially with the pick-up from the train station. Flavia and her mother were both incredibly welcoming, spoke wonderful English, and provided us with great context and knowledge about Truffles. It was so enjoyable to watch the (incredibly cute) truffle dogs at work: sniffing out truffles, digging them up, even bringing them over (and waiting expectantly for the treat they deserved). And at the end, we were treated to a wonderful, homemade truffle tasting (and able to buy some of the delicious truffle products we had just tasted). Everything was so organized, professional, easy and fun.

I would highly recommend this tour. We looked at several other food tours in Bologna (and have done many in the past) and decided to try the 'pay-for-your-food' kind of food tour. You buy what you want (a bit more or a bit less) and it was all very reasonable, and very delicious. I would take this option again, over an all-inclusive food tour.
