It was a great tour. Our tour guide Mattia was very knowledgeable and explained the Parmigiano reggiano making process really well. We saw the process from beginning to end and were fortunate enough to taste the end product with some Lambrusco. The next stop was the Parma prosciutto making factory. When we arrived we saw the pork legs being salted by the master prosciutto maker. After this tour we were treated to a plate of prosciutto, some bread and wine. Next stop was balsamic vinegar in Modena. The process is fascinating and steeped in history. The van was comfortable and we had a nice group of people in our bus, which along with our guide Mattia, made the day even more enjoyable.

This has been the highlight he of our trip. Lisa, our guide was absolutely fantastic and engaging. Born and raised in Parma, she knew the region and the products so well - Explaining each part of the process so perfectly. The tour was intimate, wholesome and gave us so much knowledge and fond memories of Parma. The balsamic vinegar leg of the tour was a highlight and we are so happy to be taking some home to Australia and showing our friends the weird and wonderful ways to use it that we learned. Thanks Lisa & the tasty bus!!

Amazing tour! Our guide was amazing, knowledge and personable. Each products/company’s history was amazing & meeting the owners/locals was beyond unexpected! Great bang for your buck if you’re a foodie and a history buff! Highly recommend
