Join the kind of class you weren't offered at school and get advice on how to identify, select, and taste wine. Held in central Paris, go on a journey through the 6 main wine regions of France for the wine tasting "Tour de France", and get a much better understanding about wine in general. The venue is a few minutes walk from the famous Musée du Louvre, just behind the beautiful Saint-Eustache church and shopping center Châtelet-Les-Halles. You will taste different wines, from different regions of France. With a unique and refreshing approach, your sommelier will take you through a variety of themes to build up your wine knowledge.  Hear about how Champagne is made and how to taste wine properly. Go through the main 6 wine regions of France to know the grapes they grow and the style of wine they make.  Learn how to read a French label, and clarify concepts like "terroir" and "appellation".

The wine tasting was great. Had a good selection of wines from around the country. Our instructor was really entertaining, knowledgeable and didn't make anyone feel silly no matter their questions or wine drinking level. It was a great activity that I would highly recommend.

We had Charlotte during our wine tasting class and it was a wonderful experience! We tasted wine from each of the major regions of France and followed along with the visuals. She also gave us practical information on tasting techniques and storing our wine at home etc. I did not realize that we could do a day trip to Champagne from Paris, very helpful! 1 star because the room was uncomfortably packed, the chairs hardly fit around the table. I understand that COVID 19 may be in our rear view mirror but I also do not need to sit in the lap of my neighbor.

This wine tasting class was really enjoyable. Our sommelier, Paul, was a great teacher with loads of experience and knowledge which he imparted in a fun and approachable way. The wines we tasted were well chosen and good. The cellar in which the event was hosted was dressed to add to the experience, and overall we had a great time.
