The tour was amazing and our guide was amazing. She explained thoroughly and patiently all throughout the tour in perfect English and gave us ample time to take photos and answered all our questions. Unfortunately I can't remember her name :( although I know that her parents had visited Malta :) A truly memorable visit to such a magnificent palace which was made memorable by our fantastic guide :)

Know before you go

  • The time on your voucher is the meeting time at our shop (the tour starts a few minutes later).
  • Please do not go directly to the Versailles Palace. Instead, come to the meeting point to meet your guide
  • Arriving on time is essential. Late arrivals cannot be refunded or guaranteed access to the Palace, and rescheduling fees will apply
  • From Paris, take the train to "Versailles Château Rive Gauche" and buy a Metro-Train-RER ticket (€2.50 standard, €1.25 reduced fare). Plan your route in advance using your navigation app (the journey takes about 1 hour)
  • During peak season, the palace can be crowded and there may be a short wait at the group entrance due to safety controls
  • The palace gardens are free only from November to March, with no garden tickets needed. (Prices are adjusted accordingly) There are no fountain shows during this period.
