Versailles: Skip-the-Line Tour of Palace with Gardens Access

Incredible experience at the Palace of Versailles, and I must say that our guide Laura was exceptional. From the moment we met, she brought the history of Versailles to life with a deep knowledge of its architecture, art, and the fascinating stories behind the kings and queens who lived there. Her enthusiasm and passion for the history were evident, making each room, painting, and garden feel rich with meaning. We particularly appreciated how she balanced the historical context with intriguing cultural insights, giving us a well-rounded understanding of the significance of the palace throughout French history. 100% recommended

Our guide Laticia was excellent- made the negotiating of the crowds look easy. Her history knowledge is exceptional but she didn’t bore with excessive detail. Plus she happily answered all our questions. Versailles is enormous and once our tour was over we were soon lost - only managing to find one of the three fountain shows in the gardens in time. Better signage matching the map would have helped enormously. You need two days! In spite of that I loved Versailles and will return one day to do the bits we didn’t find in the garden.
