During the 90-minute tour of the main palace, see the State Apartments, the King's Bedroom, and the emblematic Hall of Mirrors. Learn about the main figures of the French monarchy, from King Louis XIV to Marie Antoinette. Hear about the fascinating historical events that took place in many of the palace’s rooms, before stepping out to explore the vast gardens complex with your guide or on your own. Marvel at the gardens' grandeur, its bronze statues, and ornamental basins accompanied by rows of large trees. If visiting with a guide, gain fascinating insights about the garden on an optional 45-minute tour. Discover Marie-Antoinette's private estate and controversial hamlet by choosing the option with access to her estate.

  • The time on your voucher is the meeting time at our shop (the tour starts a few minutes later).
  • Do not go directly to the Versailles Palace! Come to the meeting point o meet your guide.
  • Please arrive on time, as late arrivals cannot be refunded or guaranteed Palace access, and rescheduling fees will apply
  • From Paris, take the train to "Versailles Château Rive Gauche" and buy a Metro-Train-RER ticket (€2.50 standard, €1.25 reduced fare). Plan your route in advance using your navigation app (the journey takes about 1 hour)
  • During peak season, the palace can be crowded and there may be a short wait at the group entrance due to safety controls
  • The palace gardens are free only from November to March, with no garden tickets needed. (Prices are adjusted accordingly) There are no fountain shows during this period.
  • If you come with a wheelchair, it is mandatory to bring assistance, as the guide isn't allowed to push the chair

Art was with Gabriella and she was amazing at painting a mental picture. It made us feel that in few moments we were actually living their life inside the palace, looking at the neighbours and the Kings.
