She gave us so much additional information, fun facts, and a historical background of the people who lived in and visited the palace. We thoroughly enjoyed her stories and came away with many fun facts. Without a guide a self-guided tour seemed too chaotic, considering the crowds.

Hear about the fascinating historical events that took place in many of the palace’s rooms, before stepping out to explore the vast gardens complex with your guide or on your own. Marvel at the gardens' grandeur, its bronze statues, and ornamental basins accompanied by rows of large trees. The line is so so so long but with the tour you skip it. Worth it already. Isabelle, our tour guide, was enthusiastic and told little jokes throughout the way that made the whole experience incredible and memorable
