Full description
Discover the extraordinary beauty of the Gardens of Versailles with the Musical Fountains Show. Take part in a 350-year tradition and watch the Versailles Palace fountains spouting in time with the classical music. Experience the talent of the 17th-century fountain engineers and of their successors in an unforgettable and fairytale experience. Take in the water display’s dazzling special effects and watch as the marble and metal gods, humans, and animals seem to come to life for a few enchanting moments. Your royal stroll will unfold to the tunes of the greatest Baroque composers including Lully, Leclair, Campra, Charpentier, and Rameau. Walk along the paths of the largest open-air sculpture garden in the world. At a turn of a flower bed or around the corner of a perfectly pruned boxwood shrub, you'll encounter statues of Apollo, Proserpina, the Marmosets, and other hidden treasures. You can also admire the topiaries shaped by hand by the artist gardeners of the Château de Versailles, using techniques passed on from generation to generation. Explore the green groves of the Royal Garden beloved by King Louis XIV and his court, used as outdoor salons for dining, dancing, gambling, music, and theater.

The garden entry is easy to find on the left as you walk towards the palace. The e- ticket worked seamlessly and when we exited near the grand canal for an ice cream there was no problem re-entering. We decided to walk from fountain to fountain and did miss a couple before the water was turned off at 5pm. This was also because we arrived at midway and had lunch at the garden restaurant.

For an attraction that must be paid for separately, the visitor is not put in a position to benefit from it as it should, approximate and superficial information, mediocre spectators. the yield is not worth the expense. It would be included in the entrance ticket
